The weekend I did two great rides in Sonora near Lyons Lake. On Saturday it was “>trogs style with George and Joseph we climbed up near Crandell Peak and rode down the trail called Pinball. It was an incredible ride with some rugged ‘extreme’ terrain and some wild geology gave the trail a unique feel. Check out the pictures and ride report which George posted.

On Sunday it was a Mothersday ride with Fiona and the kids. We returned to Lyons Lake but we took it easy and did 8 miles along the railroad grade plus a tiny bit of the Powerline trail.

Both days required a Post ride cool down at the base of the Lyon’s Lake Dam:
